Done with watercolor, both traditional brushes and airbrush on watercolor paper (11”x15”) Started with a rough pencil sketch. Painted the figure first, although not my preference. I usually like to have a background complete so it doesn't feel like I am trying to work around things. Although it seems to never work out that way. I guess I can say I work on a piece the same way I eat a meal. Little here and there, but always sure to eat the food that gets cold faster, first (thnx mom). This one is framed and matted. Woo Hoo.
It was in the air as to what to name this one.
Was a toss up between Tar Babe and Pantomime. I did have in mind from the start this character would have a quiet personality mixed with a strong will. Sort of a fairy servant, hence the name Fairy Godfather.
